The AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 is one of the Aironet 1130 AG Series of Wi-Fi-certified 802.11g wireless access points. It provides high-capacity, high-security, enterprise-class features in an unobtrusive, office-class design.

Two radios with built-in omnidirectional antennas provide simultaneous support for 802.11a and 802.11g standards with backwards compatibility for legacy 802.11b clients. Multiple nonoverlapping channels minimize interference in congested airspace, simplifying the deployment of high-capacity networks.

The AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 supports Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP). When it is operating as a lightweight AP, a WLAN controller is required.

The 1130AG Series meets the international Common Criteria (ISO 15408) standard for computer security.

The product is shipped with a universal power supply for connection to local power. Line power over Ethernet support requires the AIR-PWRINJ3 power injector or another inline power source.

The Cisco Aironet 1130AG Series can be configured using the console port when there is no Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server in the network or when there is no wired connection between the access point and the LAN. The AIR-CONCAB1200 console cable is required for connection to the console port.

The C2960G-24TC-L is one of the Catalyst 2960 series fixed-configuration switches offering Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity with enhanced LAN services for midsize and branch office networks.

The G-24LC model provides:

• Twenty-10/100/1000Base-T ports for desktop connectivity
• Four dual-purpose uplink ports, each having one 10/100/1000 Ethernet port and one Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Gigabit Ethernet port, with one active at a time.

The four-port 10/100-Mbps managed switch provides connections for multiple devices and has the ability to designate a port as the network Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Virtual LAN (VLAN) support allows computers to be moved to another location without reconfiguration.

The Cisco Router and Security Device Manager (SDM) Web-based configuration tool simplifies setup and deployment. Its centralized management capabilities give network managers visibility and control of the network configurations at the remote site.

The CISCO877-K9 model is useful when the connection to the rest of the network is through an ADSL analog phone line.

The CISCO1811/K9 model provides high-speed broadband access through dual 10/100BASE-T Fast Ethernet WAN ports.

The AIR-PWRINJ3 provides Power over Ethernet (PoE) to a Cisco Aironet 1100 Series or 1200 Series access point or bridge. It works with the power supply included with the access point to supply enough power for up to a 100-meter cable run.

The Cisco Aironet 1100 Series Access Point is a WiFi certified 802.11g wireless access point. It can be used to extend network access to users of mobile computers or to distant desktops out of reach of the wired network.

The Cisco Aironet 1100 Series offers flexibility and investment protection for wireless networks. With 802.11g technology, users can benefit from data rates up to 54-Mbps and maintain full backward compatibility with 802.11b devices. Administrators can configure the Aironet 1100 Series to support both 802.11g and 802.11b clients for investment protection, or for higher performance configure it to support only 802.11g clients.

The AIR-CB21AG-E-K fits into a notebook computer's CardBus slot to add wireless network connectivity.

The Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g Wireless CardBus Adapter uses the 802.1X standard for port-based network access. A full array of Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) types for user-based authentication, together with enterprise-caliber Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption, provide full 802.11i support. The adapter supports WPA2--the Wi-Fi Alliance certification for interoperable, standards-based wireless LAN security.

The adapter can be configured to support single 802.11b coverage, single 802.11g coverage, single 802.11a coverage, dual-mode 802.11a/g coverage, or trimode 802.11a/b/g coverage. A graphical user interface (GUI) is provided for configuration, monitoring, and management.

Security management is through the Cisco Wireless Security Suite, which provides reliable, scalable, centralized security management
