    The PIX-501-UL-BUN-K9 Security Appliance delivers enterprise-class security for small offices and enterprise teleworker environments in a compact, plug-and-play, all-in-one solution. Ideal for securing high-speed "always on" broadband environments, the Cisco PIX 501 Security Appliance delivers up to 60 Mbps of firewall throughput, 3 Mbps of Triple Data Encryption Standard Virtual Private Network (3DES VPN) throughput and 4.5 Mbps of Advanced Encryption Standard AES-128 VPN throughput.

    The PIX 501 has an integrated 4-port Fast Ethernet (10/100) switch and one Fast Ethernet (10/100) interface. The product includes unlimited user licenses.
